How I Work
I view therapy as a co-created process — a shared space where honesty, curiosity, and growth can unfold at a natural pace. My role is to walk alongside you with care and intention, helping to bring your goals and hopes into clearer focus.
My approach is humanistic, relational, and collaborative, and is deeply informed by Gestalt principles. You can learn more about Gestalt therapy here.
Gestalt is a therapeutic framework that emphasizes present-moment awareness, personal responsibility, and authentic connection. It can sound a bit heady at first, but in practice, it simply means that we pay close attention to what’s happening for you — emotionally, physically, and relationally — right here and now. This focus often leads to deeper insight, integration, and more genuine ways of being with yourself and others.
I draw from insight-oriented work, relational depth, mindfulness practices, and Gestalt techniques to support you in reconnecting with your truest self and living with greater clarity and purpose. Each person’s journey is unique, and I take time to listen closely, tailor our work thoughtfully, and check in regularly to ensure we’re moving in alignment with your growth.
As your therapist, I offer a safe, grounded space where healing, exploration, and transformation can take root.
I am registered with the Board of Behavioral Sciences as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT #156875).You can also visit my Psychology Today profile to learn more about my approach.
